Bike marking event at Project Unity office, Fairfield

Thanks to those that turned out last night for our bike marking event at the Project Unity office on Victoria park road, Fairfield.

It was quite an eventful evening.  Not only were we active in the office, our attention was drawn to a vulnerable male on Bench Road who also needed our assistance.
The male had returned home to find his property flooded by burst pipes.  He was distressed and upset until a member of the public took the time to stop and listen to him.  That person then rang the job in and also called into our office to make us aware.  Due to her assistance, we were able to deal with the situation promptly avoiding further upset to the male.

Having our office in the centre of the community is something we have fought for.  Bringing us closer to the people we serve.
On this occasion it worked perfectly.
